It all started with the need for durable pet accessories.
Max, the beloved companion of founders Barbara and Craig, was a highly active dog. Running kilometers each day in between swimming and hikes on the weekends, pet accessories at the time just didn't last.
After countless worn ID tags, freyed and rusty collars, and hours trying to find good-looking accessories, Barbara and Craig decided to come up with a solution.
In 2002, Red Dingo Australia was founded with a simple mission: Make durable and stylish pet accessories for the every day dog.

ID tags were the first product developed under Red Dingo. To withstand Max's active lifestyle they were made from thick stainless steel. But it didn't stop there - regular pet tags were boring, they had to look better. Inspired by a piece of jewellery, the first-ever stainless steel and enamel pet ID tags were created. A range of collars, leads, harnesses and beds followed shortly after.
Fast forward to today, Red Dingo products are available in over 50 countries between Europe, North America and Oceania. Red Dingo is still operated by Barbara and Craig with Cassie, a Kelpie-cross, continuing on Max's legacy in Australia.
